On 28th May 2020, the University of Manchester Alumni Association Singapore (UOMAAS) organised an exclusive, virtual live discussion via Google Meet on the topic of ‘Career Challenges in the Pandemic Economy: A Singapore Perspective’.
The session was led by the President of UOMAAS, Alex Chan, alongside other senior members and panellists, William Liu, Tang Hian Seng, and moderator, Andrew Koh. The session addressed how unemployment workforce in global economies are rising rapidly at a frightening and unmatched pace compared to recent crises and past pandemics, and how the UOMAAS alumni community can respond to the impact on their careers as a result of the pandemic.
We are glad to see the alumni community band together to support each other during this trying time.
