Self-Management is the least talked about element of Emotional Intelligence and, for most of us, the hardest to develop. It is the selective control, development, and communication of specific aspects of our own emotional experience. The Career Development Series: Managing Yourself by Andrew Jones had been beneficial to the participants.
When coaching senior leaders, Andrew frequently encounters three issues. He introduced techniques for fostering self-confidence, optimism, and happiness. Some of these methods will in turn aid a managerial role to manage their staff and teammates. This hands-on workshop allowed participants to coach one another in groups to develop their own personalized action plans.
By enhancing our students’ and alumni’s soft skills through our Career Development Series, we hope to make them more well-rounded and distinctive.
