Between 22 – 27 April 2021, we at the University of Manchester, South East Asia Centre were proud to be able to open our doors to students for the first face-to-face workshops in a year!
Our Business Accounting and Finance (BAF) workshops was led by the wonderful Mr Daniel Ong, a locally-based academic tutor, within a classroom setting. Students were spaced apart in accordance to government-mandated safe distancing (1 metre) measures, which were also firmly set in place throughout the premises.
The sessions closed with great feedback from the 31 students in attendance, and we were happy to see our students be able to socialise with each other safely, and being able to enjoy the in-person workshop experience that they had been missing in the past months.
With the onset of vaccination programmes within Singapore, the region and around the globe, we are hopeful that more face-to-face workshops will be made possible in the near future.
